Step 2 - Standards
Standards in the Care Sector are critically important. The specific standards that are specified for audit, don’t include everything that makes great performance though. At Care Management Coaching , we don’t deliver stand-alone training in the core topics of care, we help the teams build their work standards that incorporates them in their everyday activities in line with what residents and relatives want [your real customers]. These standards become the lead performance indicators and the basis for opportunities for improvement.
The lead indicators are the way in which to do things. If you want a certain outcome, you need consistently follow a standard process to get that outcome.
